It is very hard to quit drugs, including marijuana, after a period of use. Relapses are not uncommon. To help prevent relapses after withdrawal, need a strong emotional control. Need constant reminders and re-enforcements of the intolerance toward drugs. Repeating these daily affirmations can help to stay on the right track.

maybe if you read real scientific journals, and understood economics and government policies, you would agree. marijuana should Not be illegal.
I for one, think that if you want your kids to get off of drugs(Cannabis being the most safe, non-violent, healthy, and non-addictive of all drugs) then I believe that you, the "parents" of these children should be promoting a drug-free environment at home, including no alcohol of any kind, no caffeine, no aspirin or Tylenol, no sleeping medication, no painkillers, and no anti-anxiety medication. I do not condone Cannabis use in minors, but you have gone a bit over the edge. If a teen begins using Cannabis, but maintains good grades and seems relatively happy, it's probably best to leave it alone. Even the medical community has widely accepted Cannabis as one of the best medications for a myriad of medical and psychological issues. Most of these 'suicidal thoughts and paranoia' are from the child feeling guilt and having to hide their Cannabis use. The harder drug use as a result of Cannabis use is nonsense. The main reason why kids go to harder drugs is because they're told by people like you that Cannabis is essentially the same thing as heroin and cocaine. Then, when they go out to meet up with the criminals who supply the Cannabis, they are also introduced to harder drugs. If, for example, Cannabis were legalised and regulated, much like alcohol is, kids wouldnt be getting it from a generic drug dealer who also sells harder drugs, but from a legitimate organisation, that might also sell alcohol (much more dangerous and addictive than Cannabis).
